our story
how it all began
Word of God Christian Fellowship (WGCF) began in May 2017, when nine families sensed God’s call to plant a Bible‑based church in the MetroWest area of Boston.
On May 14, 2017, we celebrated our very first Sunday worship service in Littleton, Massachusetts. The following day, May 15, 2017, WGCF was officially registered with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Soon after, God provided a home for our growing church family at the Framingham State University Alumni House, where we gathered each week for worship, fellowship, and shared meals that quickly became part of our church’s rhythm.
Our pastors, Angelito (Lito) Mutia and Neptali (Dong) Rondina, were commissioned by Pastor Ron DeVilla of Word International Ministries in Vancouver, Canada. Quirino (Jojo) Mari faithfully serves as our deacon.
a heart for the nations
From the very beginning, WGCF carried a global heartbeat. Within our first year, we partnered with churches in Cebu, Pangasinan, and Rizal in the Philippines — supporting pastors, encouraging congregations, and joining hands in the work of the gospel.
Our mission has always been shaped by the Great Commission:
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
— Matthew 28:19–20
This calling continues to guide us as we serve both our local community and partners around the world.
who we are today
WGCF is now a Bible‑based, Christ‑centered, Filipino‑American multigenerational church where faith is lived out in community.
We gather each week to worship, grow, and share life together — from heartfelt worship to shared meals that bring every generation around the same table.
Our story is one of God’s faithfulness, and we believe He is still writing the next chapters.
